Mission and Vision

EMGSAA is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized under the State of Virginia, Nonprofit Corporation organizing laws for charitable purposes. The specific purpose of this Corporation is to foster communication among former students and staff of the Etege Menen Girls School. We are dedicated to supporting educational excellence and other professional endeavors in Ethiopia. We recognize the importance that education has on the body, mind and spirit, and we believe that it is the ONLY method by which women can be empowered to fight for gender equality and against poverty.

Members

The members of the Association shall be former students and staff of the Etege Menen Girls School who are registered with the Association. To date we are about fifteen members and growing.
